I've not been racing anything else much, AC here and there and I just got back into iRacing. But I still think there's a place for LFS and I did fire it up last night and do some laps.
I'd be down for some LFS online racing at weekends though.
I don't get the complaints about cruise servers because they have been around for a very long time. Honestly I haven't played in years, apart from to make a couple of autocross layouts and do some drifting. What I will say is it still drives very nicely. Good physics don't get worse over time! Maybe I'll pick LFS up again at some point, who knows But for now, if drift and cruise servers are helping make the devs money then that's great.
Nice, that looks like a great pad you have there. Ours might be a bit smaller but good for around 60 second runs at fairly low speed. Sounds like a fun car!
Yes the new area is great for faster layouts. Thanks for the comment - I had been wondering if anyone was even interested in autocross layouts anymore!
Edit: btw, you've been registered since 2003 and this is your first post?
Nearly 10 years after creating the courses for the LX autocross competition, I'm super excited by the larger spaces now accessible at Blackwood and it's inspired me to create another course. With this space we can now create courses similar in size and speed to those on the US National Autocross Tour. Please see the YouTube video for guidance as I haven't put many arrows on the course itself. Cheers!
D3100 with 18-105. Used to have a D70 but sold that, wanted something with video and also the price was pretty damn appealing. Feels more entry level than my D70 did, but still a solid camera and it takes looovely video.
I really enjoyed The Amazing Spiderman. I love how it shows the story from the beginning and the process of him learning about his new found strength and power.
I hate that! I regularly have dreams where I've somehow acquired a really awesome racing car or street car, and it's just fantastic in my dream. I wake up super happy and excited then realize it was only a dream
I get that feeling every time I ride a bike in real life lately :P Been a while since I've ridden regularly, so each time I borrow my friend's bike I'm a little lacking in confidence in the front end.
That's no fun!!
Crazy! Love that kind of dream! And the 'Ring is a great dream to have too, I went there a few years ago and it was every bit as good as I had imagined
New one for me last night... I was driving a truck with a huge trailer behind it, through really tight city roads. Thanks to my supreme driving skills I managed not to hit anything. Also on the same roads I was riding a motorbike, and I had someone following me, but they kept crashing at low speeds. I got pretty frustrated with them.
